About Us

Missional Merch

My name is Kelly Bailey, and I'm a wife and mom of three kids in middle Tennessee. I'm also the artist behind Missional Merch products, but truly, I seek only to be a vessel to be used by my Creator, who's given me certain talents and strengths to use for His glory.

I founded Missional Merch, a women's gift shop with heart, in 2021 with a desire to make a positive impact on a world that was confused and hurting in the aftermath of Covid. I believe in the power of faith, joy, and laughter to bring people together and inspire them. This journey began with a desire to bring light to others through quality products that people love.

What sets Missional Merch apart is our commitment to giving back. Each purchase supports causes close to our hearts such as aiding child trafficking victims, assisting the homeless, and feeding the hungry.

When you shop with us, you're not just supporting a small business; you're joining a movement of hope and purpose. We will treat you like family.

Thank you for being part of our story.

My "Why"

In 2007, I had the opportunity to travel to southeast Asia to love on (and teach English to) child trafficking victims at The Abba House in Thailand. Later, I went to Bangkok to witness first hand the atrocity that is the Red Light District. There, I saw middle aged men with very young Thai girls under their arms, taking them to abuse them for the evening. It was heartwrenchingly hard to see what is going on in so many parts of the world, and I vowed to do something about it. When I returned home, I began speaking out about what I'd seen and about the sex trafficking industry in general.

The causes I've aligned Missional Merch with not only include caring for "the least of these" (child trafficking victims), but echo many of the other charitable acts that Jesus mentions in Matthew 25:35-36:

"For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink. I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me."

He went on to say,

"I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me."

To say that my passion for this shop is renewed in the kind of way that only kingdom-building and life-changing things can do would be an understatement.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting God's work when you purchase items from my shop.
